Teacher robbed in Belize City

A Belize City teacher was robbed Thursday night in Belize City.

On Thursday September 4 just before 9:00 p.m., a 28-year-old teacher of Belize City was  walking on Coney Drive heading home. When he reached the intersection by the Coney Drive Plaza, which is near the Napa building and an un-named street, two men of dark complexion robbed him of his laptop bag. In his laptop bag were two cell phones including a Samsung Galaxy 5 valued at $2,300, and over $1,350.00 in cash. The two persons then ran towards the Philip Goldson Highway where they boarded a grey SUV that was waiting on the highway.

Police investigations continue.
