In an interview with Ruperto Vicente yesterday he told Plus News that the current financial state of the federation does not permit them to pay off all their bills.
However they should be getting monies from FIFA sometime soon and this will allow them to pay the National Team player’s outstanding monies and other debts they hold.
This caught the attention of one man who says he was contracted to assist in the renovations of the field. It has been 1 month and 2 weeks now that he has been asking for his money in the sum of $3,820 to no avail.
“Every time I reach there, they tell me, “next week” and don’t get an answer. So, I want is for them to give me a sure date when I am going to get paid. I don’t understand how the FFB does not have the funds to pay, but I have business to run and have bills to pay, and the thing is…the bills…we have to pay it”.
Reporter Emanuel Pech: “You also said you have workers to pay, also”.
Fredis Ramirez: “Yes, I have workers to pay also, up to the truck drivers”.
According to Ramirez, FFB executives keep telling him to come back the following week when all he wants is an estimated date when they would have his money ready.
