Tires purchased with forged check

The Credit Manager for Caribbean Tires, Spanish Lookout reported that on December 29, she received a cheque by mail which was a Belize Bank cheque in the name of House of Salvation of # 3 Cahal Pech Road, San Ignacio Town in the sum of $5,103. This is a cheque for the sale of six tires made on the December 12 at Caribbean Tires depot, Spanish Lookout which was picked up by two male persons. The (6) tires valued at $850.50 each, the manager then made checks with Belize Bank where she was told that the House of Salvation account has been closed for two years now and that the signatures on the cheque do not match the ones they have on the file. Police are investigating.
