TRAFFIC ACCIDNET CLAIMS LIFE OF ELDERLY MAN

A fatal road traffic accident in Cattle Landing Village claimed the life of an elderly man.  According to reports, 29 year old Daniel Aurelius was riding his Red Lifan motorcycle from Punta Gorda Town to Cattle Landing Village when he knocked down 56 year old Hector Ramclam who was walking along the highway. Here is what police had to say

Wilfredo Ferrufino, National Crimes Investigation Branch: Sometime around 8:50pm, Punta Gorda police responded to about a mile and a half on the San Antonio Road. This would be in Cattle Landing Village. Upon arrival, they discovered two male persons, one standing with injuries and the other laying on the ground. The one on the ground was identified to be Hector Ramclam, a 56 year old resident of Cattle Landing Village. The other male person was identified to be Daniel Mejia, a 29 year old resident. From the investigation, it has revealed that Mr. Mejia was driving his motorcycle from Punta Gorda in the direction of Cattle Landing when he hit Mr. Ramclam. Mr. Ramclam unfortunately died at the hospital. The matter is currently being investigated. An NIP has been issued and police are looking into that case.
