Two arraigned for beating and robbing motorcycle driver

Two persons were arraigned this morning on charges of robbery and wounding after an Office Assistant was hit off his bicycle and badly beaten by the duo. The 21 year old victim, Kadeem Vaughn, identified his attackers  as  30-year-old Nigel Castillo and 20-year-old Joseph Babb.  According to reports,   Vaughan was heading home riding his motorcycle sometime around 3:00 a.m. While at the intersection of Alicia Street and Brown Street in Belize city, he was punched off his motorcycle. His attackers then repeatedly kicked Vaughan and then stole his wallet, cell phone and his cycle. In court, the men pled not guilty but they were both denied bail because they live in close proximity to the victim. The men were remanded until April for their next court date.
