Two Belizean students awarded Masters Degree scholarships

Two Belizean students will be travelling to Europe to pursue a Masters Degree of their choice. The awardees, Leo Koop and German Lopez, both graduates of the University of Belize are the recipients of the scholarships offered under the European Union’s Erasmus Mundus program. Leo Koop will be pursuing a degree in Computer Stimulation for Science and Engineering and German Lopez in Sustainable Forest and Nature Management. The scholarships awards will cover month allowances, tuition, registration costs and insurance costs. Erasmus Mundus, the EU’s only scholarship program is open to graduate students and institutions across the globe. Koop and Lopez join several Belizeans who have benefitted from the program since its inception in 2004.
