Two Charged for Forgery at the Radisson Hotel

vlcsnap-2013-12-04-07h33m59s45Two were last night facing charges of fraud.  The CEO for Radisson Fort George Hotel and Marina reported that during the months of January 2013 to August 2013, he noticed rising costs on their monthly  financial statements for their Food and Beverages Department.  He then directed an internal audit.

At the conclusion of that audit, it was discovered that a total of 60 Belize Bank Cheques were generated by their payable accounts department by inputting false invoices numbers of suppliers into the system.

The total sum of monies stolen is $186,526.65.  Police have since arrested and charged 24 year old Justin Lacriox, of Belizean/US Nationality for (28) counts of Uttering a forged document, (28) counts of Claiming upon a forged document and (28) counts of handling stolen goods.

Also charged was 33 year old Brian Myvette, with (8) counts of Uttering a Forged Document, (8) counts of Claiming upon a forged document and (8) counts of Handling Stolen Good. The cops say they are seeking one more suspect in this incident.
