Last night we told you of a robbery at the Belize Post and Mail Services in Belmopan sometime before noon. Well just few hours later, there was another robbery in the city, targeting a Belmopan resident. At about 7.35p.m., the 26 year old male was making his way down the Central Walkway, in the direction from the Civic Centre towards the King’s Children Home. There, he was approached by a man dressed in a camouflaged jacket who pointed a silver firearm at him. In fear for his life, he handed over his Ipod, after which the assailant made good his escape. Police say they are investigating the incident.
