Ahead of the close of the school year and first registrations for the University of Belize (UB), a study conducted by the students of the school under the watch of Adjunct Professor Patrick Menzies has revealed alleged abuses by the university’s administration. This is on the issue of acceptance of credit and organization of the Associate and Bachelor degree programs, resulting in financial losses for past and current students. Dr Menzies today told PLUS News that at tomorrow’s press conference in Belize City he intends to make the findings of the study public along with recommendations for improvements. According to Menzies, he has spoken with and presented a copy of the report to the University’s interim provost, Dr. Wilma Wright, at least two weeks ago but has yet to receive a response. PLUS News will have the details from the press conference tomorrow as well as a response from the University.
