Police are looking for a man who robbed the Western Union Branch in Belize City. It happened early Saturday morning at around 7:55. The supervisor said he had just reported for duty at the establishment, where he met with the security officer. A man then reportedly entered and pulled out a firearm and pointed at the supervisor. He threw a small black bag his way and told him to put all the cash and phones in it. The supervisor then placed close to $8,000 from the vault, $2,500 from inside the cash pan and several cell phones into the bag. The bandit then made good his escape, leaving the security guard locked up inside the institution.
